100% coverage of a B2 sheet

As a commercial printer or finisher, you need to ensure a full B2 coverage (B2=500x707mm) for your Spot UV jobs.
The JETvarnish 3D, as perfect complement to B2 offset presses, is able to exceed this area with a printable of 515x735mm.

No Minimum Runs

Traditional spot UV coating jobs usually carried an expensive setup charge and a 1,000 page minimum order to amortize the costs of plates, screens, setup and cleaning. Previously, there has never been a way to affordably spot coat 50 brochures or 250 flyers on demand. The 100% digital JETvarnish 3D can "spot UV coat on demand" even the shortest of runs. You input your file, have a 5 sheet calibration phase, and presto, the job is ready to go. You can even present your customer with a fully spot coated proof, and it only cost you about a penny to make - a true value-added application. 

Anticipate your printing costs prior to production

JETvarnish 3D has an embedded predictive cost calculator prior to production. You just need to upload the spot coating file and it will immediately display the volume of coating consumed - for 1 or for 1,000+ sheets

Perfect register every time!

The JETvarnish 3D comes equipped with ARC registration technology, an onboard 
camera combined with a proprietary tracking system designed to calibrate (on-the-fly) coating registration from sheet to sheet. The camera is capable of reading any printed marks and automatically corrects for changes in X and Y portions of each sheet. The ARC system ensures accurate spot UV coating, even on jobs with inconsistent print registration, a traditional obstacle for those wishing to spot UV coat jobs printed on some digital presses.

No Plates or Screens

The 100% digital JETvarnish 3D eliminates the need for expensive plates, screens or setups. By removing these elements that are associated with traditional spot UV coating, the JETvarnish 3D allows you to have a dramatically quicker and less expensive setup for your jobs - which translates into higher profitability.
