MDV Robuskin® series is a choice of synthetic materials on a variety of film substrates, such as:
Robuskin® is a synthetic paper which, due to it’s smooth, stable, uniform surface combines the excellent print result expected of a high quality matt coated paper with the physical properties of modern plastic films
It is extremely strong and resistant to tearing, to weather, to cold and heat, to water including sea water, saliva and sweat, to grease and staining, and to many chemicals including petrol and oil.
Robuskin® can be printed and finished just like ordinary paper, in continuous or sheet format, by Offset, Letterpress, Flexo, Gravure and Silk Screen. It may also be overprinted by Thermal Transfer, Dot Matrix, Mono Inkjet, Cold Fuse Laser systems or Typewriter. Robuskin® should be stored wrapped like ordinary paper.
Robuskin® is available in coated (one or both sides) and uncoated versions. Standard sheet dimensions and thicknesses as shown in charts. Other dimensions/thicknesses available upon request.
For digital printing you can check the materials' compatibility with the most popular dry toner printers of the market in the compatibility list below. The list is indicative, it is advisable for the user to carry out their own tests to determine the materials' fitness for use with the user's equipment.
